I want to go home mysqlprayerrequest

I am so very tired. A year-and-a-half ago I was run over by a hit-and-run driver. MRIs revealed a very large mass engulfing my right kidney, spreading such that chances of surviving surgery were minimal. My brother, Stan, and I planned my funeral. He was to come bury me. Hospital after hospital refused to operate, and I wound up at City of Hope, where the cardiology team refused to approve me for surgery because the tumor appeared to invade the vena cava, the largest vein in the body returning blood to the heart. A second cardiologist from another hospital gave the go-ahead, and my surgery was scheduled at City of Hope.

I received a call while awaiting surgery. Stan had been found dead along a walking trail near his home. I buried him, and my doctors said my surgery couldn’t be delayed any further. They saved my life, but my brother is gone. Lord, how I wish it was me in that grave.

I pray the prayer of Elijah every night, “It is enough now, O Lord, take my life.” I want so much to go home.
