God bless America, land that I love!
Stand beside her, and guide her,
through the night with a light from above.
From the mountains, to the prairies,
To the oceans, white with foam
God bless America, my home sweet home.
Justify it as you wish.
Say it isn't a life because it's not capable of drawing breath.
Say it's a blob of tissue.
Say you believe it doesn't have a soul yet.
But for your own soul's sake, quit asking God to bless America after you do!
Let's face it, abortion is a hot debate topic.
People argue up one side of it
and people refute them all the way down the other.
Many efforts are made on both sides to prove
that life begins at such and such a time in the conception/growth process.
The problem with this is that we simply do not know for sure, and never
What separates a human being from an animal
is not our size, or appearance, or age, but our souls.
When did you become uniquely you?
When did God create your soul and impart it to your earthly being?
I can't answer that.
Your parents can't answer that.
The government can't answer that,
nor can the answer be provided by science.
What I can tell you is that science has intruded on a sacred process,
and we now can see for ourselves how physical bodies develop.
Instead of standing back in awe and wonder at such a miracle, the reaction seems to be
"Aha! We've figured it out, there is no more mystery, we're so intelligent."
In his confidence and pride man forgets that there is only One who has complete knowledge,
and man begins thinking "If I'm this intelligent, surely I can say for certain
what is right and wrong, true and false, sin and righteousness,
merely on my own cognizance."
In other words, we forget God.
We forget that we do NOT know it all.
What happens when we forget God?
We forget how sacred life is.
Where does that lead us?
It leads us to where we are today, performing thousands upon thousands of abortions
without knowing beyond a shadow of a doubt whether or not we are committing murder.
We're wiling to take that chance on children,
but when it comes to a murderer himself we must be able to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that
he is guilty before we sentence him to death.
If even one juror disagrees, the decision is not made.
In abortion, the percentage of disagreement is much higher, yet it continues,
on and on, yet many do not so much as blink an eye when paying taxes to fund
a government that condones and approves of this.
We pay the dues, go about our lives, and lift hands stained with blood
up to heaven and ask God to bless our nation.
I, for one, find it very odd.
