Ministry of Helps - Bus Ministry Team Workers Bus Ministry

RE: BUS WORKERS We presently have 2 bus routes. Our average attendance on Sunday\'s range from 8-10. Our highest attendance is on Wednesday\'s, which range from 25-30. We run our bus for each service (Sunday a.m., Sunday p.m., and Wednesday). We have an alternating bus driver and assistant to ride each route. Presently we have 4 drivers and 6-8 assistants. Our driver\'s are responsible for doing the driving and keeping a check on the gas gauge as well as letting the mechanic know of any problems with the bus. Our assistants are responsible for loading and unloading, keeping records of attendance as the passengers load and unload, they are responsible for behavior control during the ride to and from church, they are also responsible for giving out the \"Good Seat\" rewards for those behaving on during the route trip. We have an Usher, who is also a mechanic that services and maintains our bus. RE: WORKER COMMITTMENT 1. The Bus Captains send \"Thank You\" notes to each of the drivers and assistants for their faithfulness in this area of ministry. 2. The Bus Captains have appreciation meetings / luncheons or fellowship dinners to recognize their faithfulness. 3. Buddy Bell Ministries has a great teaching on the importance of the Ministry of Helps Teams which has been a tremendous help in the committment of our workers in every area of the Ministry of Help.
