Youth & Discipline Bus Ministry

I understand your situation. I run our youth group (Jr High & High School) and I know there is a fine line between discipline and driving them away. However, what I have learned is this...they are smart. They know where they can misbehave and where they can\'t. They need the boundaries set very clearly as to what is acceptable and what is not. I have had some very unmannered kids that I have had to ask to leave the class or event because they are being disrespectful. This usually only takes one time. Our Lord disciplines us when we are out of line in a loving way, and we shouldn\'t be afraid to do the same with our children. They will get away with what they can until you stop them. In the long run, you will win the war, but sometimes the battles can be rough. I\'ll pray for you during this time. And remember, with some of these kids, you are the only guidance they may get.
