my health: possible fatal disease mysqlprayerrequest

Short version: I think I might have ALS and die without being to raise my infant son. Please pray that God\'s power heal me or allow me to live until he grows up. I pray that it\'s God\'s will. Long version: I am 39, was married four years ago and my wife and I have a 14-month old son. I had my gall bladder removed in May last year and developed migrane headaches just before that. The adominal pain was extremely high but the sugery fixed that. Dealing with migraines while caring for our infant has not been fun, but I have been managing. Now I am starting to feel numbness, weakness, and pain in my legs. A blood test and EMG to test leg nerves was done and checks ok. My co-worker\'s father died of ALS (Lou Gehrig\'s disease) so I looked up the symptoms on WebMD and it sounds like what I\'m feeling. I have not told anybody but my family doctor and neurologist, not even my wife. She does not handle stress and pressure very well and I don\'t want her to worry and cry until doctors know for sure. I am fearful for what will happen to her and my son if I die soon. PLEASE pray that I be allowed to raise my son! So many fathers these days are not good or responsible for their children. I have always wanted to be the best father I can be for my son because my father divorced my mother and left us when I was 16. I don\'t understand why this is happening to me and my family. It\'s not just me, it\'s my wife and son also. If I had not helped create a child and bring him into the world, then I would not be as fearful on dying. For me, it\'s all about my son.
