According to Filiuk, if these children had been born, they could have become part of the country's defense, and would have thrown hats at the enemies. The priest also acknowledged that in some European countries the abortion rate is higher; however, in his assessment, it is precisely in Ukraine that this has led to a demographic crisis and a shortage of people to defend the state.
