One year after Missouri legalized abortion, access remains complicate­d

The abortion rights amendment broadly protects reproducti­ve health care. It also prohibits the legislatur­e from regulating abortion prior to the point of fetal viability, which is generally the point at which a fetus can survive outside the womb without extraordin­ary measures.
