Gov. Newsom's abortion funding plan is a reaction to the one-year federal Medicaid defunding of Planned Parenthood by the Trump administration, but it's just the latest in his legislative support for abortion and Planned Parenthood, which recently announced it would be ending many of its primary care services in the southern part of the state.
