This is on chapter 4 & 5 of revelation. I hope you can learn somthing from these pages. I have to state first that I KNOW NOTHING! I claim to KNOW NOTHING, have no views about what anything means. Just going word by word without adding to anything, like rather the rapture is before, after, middle, of the start of the 7 years of tribulation or rather is chapter 4 after the rapture or before it. It just doesn't say here!. The only thing it does say is that after the messages to the seven churches is the first voice saying in Rev 4:1 "I will shew thee things which must be hereafter" That's it. I just wonder if some people have read Rev 22:8-9?

First these verses are as clear as a bell, though many people today don't read it or don't take the words to heart.
Rev 22:8 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
Rev 22:9 And if any man shall
take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

This verse sounds a lot like all the revelation books & movies out today?
2 Peter 2:3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not, feigned means> Deceitful; false.

Other interesting notes:
2 Timothy 3:15 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.
2 Peter 1:20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.

2 Peter 1:21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

Revelation Chapter 4-5 :: King James Version (KJV)

4:1 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.
4:2 And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and
one sat on the throne.
4:3 And he that sat was to look upon like a
jasper and a sardine stone : and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald .
4:4 And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw
four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold.
4:5 And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were
seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.
4:6 And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were
four beasts full of eyes before and behind.
4:7 And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle.
4:8 And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, LORD God Almighty, which was,and is, and is to come.
4:9 And when those beasts give glory and honour and thanks to him that sat on the throne, who liveth for ever and ever,
4:10 The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying,
4:11 Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.
5:1 And I saw in the right hand of
him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals.
5:2 And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof?
5:3 And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon.
5:4 And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon.
5:5 And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.
5:6 And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a
Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.
5:7 And he came and took the book out of the right hand of
him that sat upon the throne.
5:8 And when he had taken the book, the
four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.
5:9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and
hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and
tongue, and people, and nation;
5:10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
5:11 And I beheld, and I heard the
voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands;
5:12
Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.
5:13 And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.
5:14 And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshipped him that liveth for ever and ever.

Notes on jasper stone Jaspers - An opaque variety of chalcedony, or quartz. Jasper is usually red because of the presence of iron, but it can be brown, yellow, or green. It was the third stone in the fourth row of Aaron's breastplate (Ex. 28:20; 39:13; green jasper, REB). The Book of Revelation describes the One on the throne as "like a jasper" (Rev. 4:3). The brilliance of the New Jerusalem was "as a jasper, clear as crystal" See also Exodus 28:20,39:13,Ezekiel 28:13, Rev 21:{11;18;19}.

Notes on sardine stone Carnelian - (see Sardius). It was called sardius because it was obtained from Sardis in Lydia. Sardius red stone, considered by many to be Carnelian, a reddish brown variety of chalcedony. Sardius was used for jewelry and for royal seals. Archaeologists have found many items of jewelry made from sardius in tombs and cities of Egypt and Palestine. It was the first stone in the first row of Aaron's breastplate (Ex. 28:17; 39:10) and was included in the adornment of the King of Tyre (Ezek. 28:12-13). Sardius was also the sixth foundation stone of the New Jerusalem (Rev. 21:20). Other words for sardius used by translations of the Bible are ruby, sardin, and carnelian.

Notes on emerald stone Garnet - Hebrew name of Nopek. The literal translation of the ancient Hebrew name means "glowing coal". So this could not be the green stone we call Emerald, but instead is thought to be a bright variety of Garnet The Emerald, on the other hand, is a deep green variety of beryl. The emerald was found in Egypt, Cyprus, and Ethiopia. It was the third jewel in the first row of Aaron's breastplate (Ex. 28:17; 39:10). Emeralds were also an article of trade between Tyre and Syria (Ezek. 27:16). The emerald was the fourth foundation stone of the New Jerusalem (Rev. 21:19), and was used to describe the rainbow around the throne (Rev. 4:3).

Notes on Rev 4:4

Four and Twenty Elders
(Rev 5:8) And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saint
(Rev 5:9) And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and
hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
(Rev 5:10) And hast made
us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
( Rev 7:13)And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?
(1 Chronicles 24:6-19)
6 And Shemaiah the son of Nethaneel the scribe, one of the Levites, wrote them before the king, and the princes, and Zadok the priest, and Ahimelech the son of Abiathar, and before the chief of the fathers of the priests and Levites: one principal household being taken for Eleazar, and one taken for Ithamar.
7 Now the first lot came forth to Jehoiarib, the second to Jedaiah,
8 The third to Harim, the fourth to Seorim,
9 The fifth to Malchijah, the sixth to Mijamin,
10 The seventh to Hakkoz, the eighth to Abijah,
11 The ninth to Jeshuah, the tenth to Shecaniah,
12 The eleventh to Eliashib, the twelfth to Jakim,
13 The thirteenth to Huppah, the fourteenth to Jeshebeab,
14 The fifteenth to Bilgah, the sixteenth to Immer,
15 The seventeenth to Hezir, the eighteenth to Aphses,
16 The nineteenth to Pethahiah, the twentieth to Jehezekel,
17 The one and twentieth to Jachin, the two and twentieth to Gamul,
18 The three and twentieth to Delaiah, the
four and twentieth to Maaziah.
19 These were the orderings of them in their service to come into the house of the LORD, according to their manner, under Aaron their father, as the LORD God of Israel had commanded him.

Question? Jesus hast redeemed the 24 elders and the 4 beast to the father. hast redeemd us to God? Does that make them saints/believers also? In Rev 7:13 one of the elders informs John concerning those arrayed in white robes, and it is evident that he does not belong to their number? Twenty-four is the number associated with the heavenly government and worship, of which the earthly form in Israel was only a copy. We are told that both Moses and David ordered all things connected with the Tabernacle and Temple worship by direct revelation from God, and as a copy of things in the heavens. Also could be 1 each of the 12 tribes of israel and the 12 disciples? I have no ideal.
NIV Version says Revelation 5:9-10
9 And they sang a new song: "You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slain, and with your blood you purchased men for God from every tribe and language and people and nation.
10 You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign on the earth."

Notes on Rev 4:4 Crowns of Gold
(Rev 9:7) And the shapes of the locusts were like unto horses prepared unto battle; and on their heads were as it were crowns like gold, and their faces were as the faces of men.
(Psa 21:3) For thou preventest him with the blessings of goodness: thou settest a
crown of pure gold on his head.

Notes on 7 Lamps Seven Lamps
Zechariah 4:2 And said unto me, What seest thou? And I said, I have looked, and behold a candlestick all of gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and his seven lamps thereon, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which are upon the top thereof.

Numbers 8:2-4
8:2 Speak unto Aaron and say unto him, When thou lightest the lamps, the
seven lamps shall give light over against the candlestick
8:3 And Aaron did so; he lighted the lamps thereof over against the candlestick, as the LORD commanded Moses.
8:4 And this work of the candlestick was of beaten gold, unto the shaft thereof, unto the flowers thereof, was beaten work: according unto the pattern which the LORD had shewed Moses, so he made the candlestick

Notes on Rev 4:5 Seven Spirits of God
(Rev 1:4) John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace [be] unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne;
(Rev 3:1) And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that
hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead.

(Rev 5:6) And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.
(1Cr 12:4) Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same
Spirit.
(1Cr 12:5) And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord.
(1Cr 12:6) And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.
(1Cr 12:7) But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.
(1Cr 12:8) For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;
(1Cr 12:9) To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;
(1Cr 12:10) To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another [divers] kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:

Notes on Rev 4:6 Four Beast
(Ezekiel 10:12,14,21)
12 And their whole body, and their backs, and their hands, and their wings, and the wheels, were full of eyes round about, even the wheels that they four had.
14 And every one had four faces: the first face was the face of a cherub, and the second face was the face of a man, and the third the face of a lion, and the fourth the face of an eagle

21 Every one had four faces apiece, and every one four wings; and the likeness of the hands of a man was under their wings.
Refer also back to 24 Elders
Four beasts full of eyes before, behind, and within.
Each had six wings though Ezekiel said they had 4 wings?
Also Ezekiel said it was a cherub and John sees a calf?
They rest not day and night, saying, "Holy, holy, holy, LORD God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come."
1st Creature was like a lion
2nd Creature like a calf
3rd Creature had a face as a man
4th Creature was like a flying eagle.

Notes on him who sits on the throne Rev 19:4 And the four and twenty elders and the four beasts fell down and worshipped God that sat on the throne, saying, Amen; Alleluia.

Notes on horns Are the 7 Horns on the lamb refering to 7 kings?

Rev 17:12 And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.

Notes on Lamb Jesus

Notes on eyes Zechariah 3:8 Hear now, O Joshua the high priest, thou, and thy fellows that sit before thee: for they are men wondered at: for, behold, I will bring forth my servant the BRANCH.
Zechariah 3:9 For behold the stone that I have laid before Joshua; upon one stone shall be
seven eyes: behold, I will engrave the graving thereof, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.
Zechariah 4:10 For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes of the LORD, which run to and fro through the whole earth.

Notes on plummet Amos (7:7) the prophet sees the Lord measuring a building with a plumb-line. God says He is setting the plumb-line among His people.
Notes on Zerubbabel [Heb.,=seed of Babylon], in the Bible, a grandson of King Jehoiachin (exiled in 597 b.c.) and governor of Jerusalem. He led a company returning from exile in c.520 b.c. under patronage of the Persian King Darius. Zerubbabel was a contemporary of Haggai and Zechariah, under whose stimulating encouragement he finished the rebuilding of the Temple. He is also known as Zorobabel.

Notes on the voice of many angels The voice of many angels and the number of the angels was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands; Rev 5:12 Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing
