Small church praying for 2 15-20 passenger vans

We have been involved in bus ministry for our entire ministry. We provide transportation for children, families without transportation, elderly and disabled individuals. We currently operate the bus ministry with 1 15 passenger van 1990 which is much need of replacement. Our church as been challenged with the economy, lay offs, pastor\'s illness for the past 8 years and funds to replace the current van are not available but yet the need to continue to provide this ministry is even greater in the current economic situation. We request your prayers with us that the funding or donation of one 15 passenger van and one handicap accessible van/bus be provided. Each individual in our communities needs to have the opportunity to find abundant life and yes, even those in nursing homes and with physical challenges must be included. Even tho our church is small we have resources for deaf ministry and spainish ministry as well (both of which are needed in our community) Yours in Christ,

Help! What do we do? Our church bus is over 15 years old. The roof is caved in on one side, the paint is old and faded/rusting, the engine just needed $1,000 in repairs and still overheats, the AC is failing again, and the bus usually gets used only 3 - 4 times per month. The bus was recently stranded for several hours on the side of the interstate with kids going to camp. I was very upset! It is such a broken down eyesore when you see it going down the road, I am truly embarrassed to have our Church name on the side. I know we can\'t afford a new bus, and don\'t see the need for a used replacement. How do I get folks to realize that this eyesore is detracting from the mission of the Church and turning away members with kids, since they don\'t feel the bus is safe to drive anymore. We could easily rent a new bus when needed for a small part of what the maintenance is costing us on this old heap. Help! I feel that I am surrounded with the biggest Penny-Wise, Pound-Foolish folks I have ever encountered in a church of this size (460 members).
