ban tv and beaches revelation/tvMy goodness Tom.....your pastor says Christians don\'t go to the beach? Let me tell you...it is a great place to take a family. Not every beach has naked/half-naked people running around. Some of us really are normal, decently attired, people/parents...who enjoy spending time with their children building sandcastles instead of watching t.v.! I think that God wants us to accept and be held accountable for our actions. A t.v. in the home does not sin, nor does the beautiful beaches the Lord has given us to enjoy make us sin. Individuals who CHOOSE to watch inappropriate material on television or stay around beaches where temptation is great need to face consequences and be responsible for their actions. Also, I am sure that many are guilty of lust even if they are not at the beach. For some, a voice on a telephone can make them lustful. Should we do away with telephones too? Our God created us and knows that we all are guilty of sin. Those who work to create a better world are the ones who will be rewarded. Not those who got rid of their t.v. |
