If only I knew Abortion-USA

I always used to say that I would never have an abortion and the time came that I felt like there was no way out. I made the horrible mistake of abortion and still hate myself everyday. I will never have another. I wish I were told more about my options of adoption. Women are not being educated about the development of the fetus before they have abortions. Alot of women just think of it as ending a pregnancy(the easy way out) without knowing what the baby looks like and that it really is a baby, not just a hunk of tissue. Alot of people say " Why are they showing pictures like that?" Let me tell you, I wish to God that I would have seen pics like that. Pictures that show the reality of this senseless murder. It is disgusting that a woman would do this to a child especially if she really KNOWS what she is doing. Instead of throwing stones, maybe some of you should be trying to educate women about this. These gruesome pictures are needed to show people what abortion really is. If only I had seen the reality then. Do all you can to spread this info and pics around. It really can save lives. It would have made a difference in the decision I made. I, just like millions of other women out there, am not a horrible person because I didn't really know. People like pro-choicers who see these pics and still go for abortion are the ones you really need to look out for. Women who've made the mistake could make the biggest impact on future prevention. I think it should be mandatory for abortion clinics to show all stages of fetal development to women seeking abortion and give a waiting period after the woman is educated about adoption and all other options available. I really, really feel that it should be banned all together except in medical extremes. The chances for that unfortunately are not very likely in the near future. So please use all this energy and passion for educating people to try to prevent as many abortions as you can, not for condeming those who would not have made this mistake if only they had known. There are millions out there who would not have had an abortion, even in their panic, if they had seen the pictures. There are loads of pro-life, anti-abortion organizations who hate this holocaust but know that most of the women who have had abortions would not have if they had known what they were truly doing. You can stand up for the innocent and reach forth a helping hand to the blind. Because in the end, there is only one Judge. God, please have mercy on us all.
